The majority owners of the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils, Josh Harris and David Blitzer, have reportedly acquired a small stake in a Pennsylvania NFL team---the Pittsburgh Steelers. The stake is worth less than five-percent, according to a Bloomberg.com

The Steelers are run by the sons of team founder Art Rooney. The Steelers have won six Super Bowls, with its most recent win in 2009, plus eight conference championships and 23 division titles.

Harris and Blitzer are also reportedly eyeing the New York Mets

Harris, 55, is the co-founder of Apollo Global Management and has an estimated net worth of $2.7 billion. He purchased the Sixers — valued by Forbes at $2 billion — in 2011 for about $287 million and in 2013 he bought the Devils and the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ for $320 million, per reports.
